Deramatix Ultra – Advanced Scar Treatment
Dermatix Ultra is a topical silicone gel that is transparent, driesquickly and helps maintain the skin’s moisture balance, while aiding the managementof scarred skin surfaces.
Dermatix Ultra has been shown to flatten, smooth and reduce the discolorationand itching of new and older keloids and scars resulting from surgical procedures,burns, and other injuries. This light, non-greasy formula is easily appliedto all areas of the skin, including the face, joints and flexures, and driesrapidly to form an invisible “sheet” that leaves the skin feelingclean and silky. Dermatix Ultra may he used under makeup.
Dermatix Ultra was developed using the same basic long chain polymers as topicalsilicone gel sheeting, but is available in a tube. It contains cyclicand polymeric siloxanes and Vitamin C ester.
Directions: Remove foil seal under cap prior to first use. Wash the affectedarea and pat dry. Gently massage a small amount of Dermatix Ultra into the affectedarea twice daily, or as directed by your physician. Use only on clean, dry skin.Dermatix Ultra can also be used on children.
When should Dermatix Ultra not be used?
•Dermatix Ultra should not be applied to open or fresh wounds.
•Dermatix Ultra should not be placed in contact with mucous membranes, or appliedtoo close to the eyes.
•Dermatix Ultra should not be applied over antibiotic skin preparations or otherskin treatments and/or products without the advice of your physician.
Are there any possible unwanted effects of Dermatix Ultra?
Rarely the gel may cause redness, pain or irritation to the skin. If youare concerned about these or any other unwanted effects, consult yourphysician.
How should Dermatix Ultra be stored?
• keep Out of the reach of children.
• Store below 25u C (770 F) and away from heat sources.
